Therapeutic Communication Tools for Bodyworkers

Increase the therapeutic potency of your communication with clients tenfold and learn how to spot, and step out of the communication dramas that go on day-in-day out in the treatment room and beyond. This course introduces you to psychotherapeutic models from Transactional Analysis that have been in use by psychotherapists since the 1960s.

However, we're not training you to become a talking therapist - your value as a bodyworker is far too great! Instead, these powerful tools have been integrated for use in your clinical Massage practice to take your client work to a whole new level - without any new massage techniques at all. We cannot recommend this course highly enough - reports of it being lifechanging both in and out of the treatment room keep coming in.

Touch for Resilience

Learn to offer clothed chair-based treatments which have been designed to soothe your client's nervous system. This creates a space where they can process stress or trauma in a safe environment - gradually, gently yet powerfully building their resilience. You will learn tools to keep you and your client psychologically safe, including how to spot clients dropping into trauma even when its almost invisible. The techniques you learn can be used for a whole range of treatment durations, and you'll learn clear protocols for offering packages of treatments designed for people who are struggling most with their mental wellbeing, trauma, chronic conditions or with day-to-day living.

The courses have been designed so you can start with the one that will serve you and your clients best now. The door is always open to continue towards your full 4Elements Touch Therapy Certification when life allows. The three courses above can be done in any order, on whatever timeframe works for you. 

Once you've completed all three of the foundation courses you're eligible to join the Certification training. This is a further three days and brings together content from the three foundation courses, weaving in the more advanced applications in each area of Zero Strain, Resilience Building & Therapeutic Communication. You'll learn new communication concepts, additional strokes for the neck and belly, the beautiful Repletion Touch, Resilience Building Massage, the 4Elements STYLES and our Integrative Treatment.  

You'll go deeper with many of the foundational concepts and strokes - making this a great course to further bolster your confidence.
